About Us

The School and Environment

Little Moose Montessori is situated at 3 JF Cilliers Road, Goodwood, Cape Town. It was established in February 2017 to offer a warm & caring home school to the growing community.
We are offer half day (7.15am – 12.30pm), 3/4 day(7.15am – 2.30pm) and full day (7.15am – 5.30pm) options.

Our school

Our school is registered with the Department of Social Development (DSD) .Our Curriculum is based on the Montessori philosophy which covers the following activities:- Practical life, Sensorial, Language, Math , Arts and Culture. The class is a mixed age group of 2 to 6 year old toddlers. We observe and direct to the needs of each child. Your child will work at his/her own pace and will not be pressurized.

Breakfast & Lunch

Breakfast and lunch is included in our offering. Breakfast is cereal and lunch is a delicious home cooked, fully halaal meal.

Hadieya Moosa

Principal & Lead Directress
Hadieya Moosa has studied and completed her NQF Level 5 Diploma course in Early Childhood and Montessori Teaching at Early Learning Foundation (ELF) Montessori Teachers Training College in November 2016. Her Qualifications include 3-6 Pre-Primary Montessori Diploma and a ETDP SETA National Diploma in Early Childhood Development Qualification ID :23118  NQF LEVEL 5 ,as well as  certificates in all areas of learning , i.e. Practical life, Sensorial , Maths , Language and Culture.She also holds a First Aid Academy Level 1 certificate .

Taahirah Moosa

Directress
Taahirah Moosa  BEd Degree in Foundation Phase at UNISA (2024). She also holds a First Aid Academy Level 1 certificate. 

Aqeelah Moosa

Assistant Directress
Aqeelah Moosa BEd Degree Foundation Phase currently a 2nd year part-time student at Unisa .
